ALEX CROSS
Physiotherapist
Bachelor of Science (Doctor of Physiotherapy)
Alex graduated from the Doctor of Physiotherapy at Melbourne University in 2018, and has recently completed his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy specialty from La Trobe University.
Currently, Alex works full-time as the rehabilitation physiotherapist for Collingwood Football Club in the AFL. He also consults with Tennis Australia at various tournaments and the National Tennis Centre. Previously, he has served as the head physiotherapist for Richmond AFLW and junior sports programs such as NAB league and Hockey Victoria. Being an athlete himself (VFL football and premier cricket), he has a keen interest in the management of sporting injuries and helping athletes return to the playing field, with a particular interest in lower limb rehabilitation.
Alex enjoys working with both athletes and the general population to help achieve their desired exercise or sporting goals. To help do this, Alex draws on his extensive gym and rehab programming knowledge, as well as proficiencies in various manual therapy techniques (including dry needling).
